Fundraising Our organization is run by the tireless efforts of an all-volunteer Coaching Staff and Board of Directors. Any money raised throughout the season goes to the expenses of the team. Those expenses include: gym rental, tournament entry fees, uniforms, travel expenses for the team & coaches (car rental, airfare, hotel), AAU membership & insurance. In addition, we offer scholarships for players unable to afford team membership & expenses. Through the generosity of our corporate sponsors and community business partners, many of our expenses for local tournaments are covered. As we travel outside of Northern California to tournaments, and in order to offset the expenses for each team member, each Hoopster & his parents are asked to help in fundraising efforts.
